Payments broke before the product did
We ran subscription software and international storefronts. Both businesses hit the same wall: one processor throttled a market, tax registrations piled up, and three dashboards disagreed about what we had actually been paid.
We solved it internally — routing across processors, failing over automatically, reconciling every settlement into one ledger, and letting a merchant-of-record entity carry the tax and chargeback liability. That internal system is Orbit.
Today we run it for AI and SaaS platforms and for cross-border e-commerce brands. Two revenue models, one payment layer, no rebuild when you add the second.
